Downtown Prince Albert is now home to a new public art experience with the official reveal of the Back Door Art Gallery, a project celebrating local artists, creativity, and community connection.

On Thursday, June 18, 2026, community members gathered at the P.A. Historical Museum to celebrate the launch of the first iteration of the Back Door Art Gallery and the unveiling of ten selected artworks. Guests had the opportunity to meet the artists, explore the gallery space, and experience how art can transform unexpected public places.

The Back Door Art Gallery brings artwork into the downtown core, creating an accessible and engaging way for residents and visitors to connect with local creativity. Each selected piece represents the unique perspectives and voices of artists in our community, adding new layers of storytelling and inspiration to the city landscape.

This initiative was made possible through the support of the City of Prince Albert’s Public Art Stimulus Program and the P.A. Downtown Business Improvement District. Through these partnerships, the project supports local artists while helping increase the presence of public art throughout downtown Prince Albert.

Public art has the ability to bring people together, spark conversations, and create meaningful connections with the places we share. The Back Door Art Gallery invites the community to experience art in a new way—outside traditional gallery walls and woven into the everyday spaces of downtown.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the reveal and helped celebrate this exciting addition to Prince Albert’s creative landscape. We invite you to visit the Back Door Art Gallery, discover the artworks, and support the talented artists who helped bring this project to life.

Ten artworks. Ten perspectives.

It is amazing how much a proper portrait session can change the way your online profile looks to potential clients or networking contacts. I found a branding guide online explaining how sharp, premium photography can instantly elevate your presence on various digital platforms here in the Canada. The author used the homepage layout of CoolCat Casino to demonstrate how clever color choices and a clean user interface keep visitors focused on the main text. Had a very similar nightmare with a roof repair crew in Nottingham last week. They quoted a flat rate, did half the job, and then demanded extra cash because of weather delays.
