As the 49th Annual Winter Festival Art Show & Sale comes to a close, we want to take a moment to reflect on this year’s incredible exhibition and express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made it a success.
This year’s festival showcased an outstanding collection of artwork from talented artists across the region. We were thrilled to see so many visitors exploring the gallery, engaging with the art, and supporting the artists through purchases and thoughtful conversations. The level of creativity and craftsmanship in this year’s show was truly inspiring, and the feedback from our visitors has been overwhelmingly positive.
Announcing the People’s Choice Award Winner One of the most exciting parts of the Winter Festival is the Guy Rutter Memorial People’s Choice Award, where visitors cast their votes for their favorite piece in the show. We are excited to announce that the winner of this year’s People’s Choice Award is Don Schoenfeld for his stunning artwork, The King!

Congratulations to Don for this well-deserved recognition! The Mann Art Gallery is honored to showcase such incredible talent, and we appreciate every artist who contributed their work to this year’s exhibition.
A Huge Thank You! We extend our deepest thanks to all of the artists, visitors, volunteers, and sponsors who helped make this year’s Winter Festival such a success. Special thanks to Lake Country Co-op for their generous support as our title sponsor, our media sponsor Prince Albert Daily Herald, and our ongoing supporters: Diane & Roger Mann, the City of Prince Albert, SK Arts, SaskCulture & Sask Lotteries, and the Canada Council for the Arts.
We also want to recognize the amazing volunteers who helped throughout the festival, and of course, a big thank you to O’Kraut for providing fantastic live music at the opening reception, and My Place Catering for the delicious refreshments.
Looking Ahead to Our 50th Anniversary As we wrap up this year’s festival, we’re already looking forward to 2026—our 50th Annual Winter Festival Art Show & Sale! Next year’s event will be extra special, and we can’t wait to celebrate this milestone with our community.
Thank you again to everyone who participated, attended, and supported the festival. Stay connected with us for upcoming events and exhibitions—see you next year for a bigger and brighter Winter Festival!
