The Winter Festival Art Show & Sale is turning 50, and we are celebrating in a big way. Join us at the Mann Art Gallery for an unforgettable weekend honouring five decades of creativity, community, and artistic excellence in Prince Albert and across Saskatchewan.
From a festive opening gala to behind-the-scenes curator insights and engaging school tours, here is everything you can look forward to during this landmark event.
Opening Gala & Awards Night

Doors Open at 6:30 PM
Mann Art Gallery, Prince Albert
Please enter through the main doors of the E.A. Rawlinson Centre for the Arts.
Kick off the 50th Annual Winter Festival Art Show & Sale with an elegant evening surrounded by art, music, and community spirit.
This special night marks the official unveiling of one of Saskatchewan’s longest-running and most beloved art exhibitions, featuring works by emerging and established artists from across the province.
What to expect:
Doors open at 6:30 PM to explore the gallery and view all artworks on display
Complimentary appetizers and a cash bar throughout the evening
Awards Ceremony and Opening Remarks at 7:30 PM, held in the theatre of the E.A. Rawlinson Centre for the Arts
Live music and opportunities to meet the artists
Select exhibited artworks available for purchase following the Opening Ceremony
Tickets:
$15 for Members
$20 for General Public
Free for Exhibiting Artists (RSVP via email to reception@mannartgallery.ca)

Curator Walk-Through

Join the guest curator, Jason Baerg, for the Curator Walk-Through of the 50th Annual Winter Festival Art Show & Sale.
This guided experience offers insight into the curatorial process, exhibition themes, and how artworks are presented within the show. It is a unique opportunity to view the exhibition through a professional lens and ask questions along the way.

Following the walk-through, the gallery will remain open and free to the public.
Celebrate this milestone anniversary by engaging more deeply with the art and the stories behind it.
Please note: the gallery will be closed to the public until after the opening night.
Winter Festival Art Show & Sale School Tours
Book your tour now for our largest exhibition of the year.
The Winter Festival Art Show & Sale features 160 artworks by regional Saskatchewan artists across multiple genres and mediums. These guided tours are ideal for all grades and offer meaningful, hands-on learning experiences.
The tour includes:
Viewing and responding to artworks by Saskatchewan and Indigenous artists
The “Art and Emotions” activity
A visual art scavenger hunt
Identifying prevalent themes within the exhibition
Highlighting Indigenous artists and content
A studio activity creating a mini 3D art gallery filled with drawings and collage inspired by “Art in Our Community”
Curriculum Connections: Students will view and respond to artworks about community, place, identity, social topics, and cultural perspectives, with a focus on Saskatchewan and Indigenous artists.
Tour Details:
Length: 1.5 hours
Minimum of 5 students
Minimum rate of $50 per tour
Groups over 10 students are $3 per student
The gallery is wheelchair accessible and includes gender-neutral washrooms
