Supporting a Sustainable Future: New Gallery Hours and Upcoming Fundraising Initiatives

Beginning January 1, 2026, the Mann Art Gallery will be adjusting its public hours as part of a broader effort to ensure the long-term sustainability of the Gallery and its programs. Like many cultural organizations, the Mann Art Gallery is navigating rising operational costs and ongoing financial pressures, while remaining deeply committed to serving the community through exhibitions, education, and meaningful engagement with the arts.

New Public Hours

Effective January 1, 2026, the Mann Art Gallery’s public hours will be:

• Monday: Closed

• Tuesday: Closed

• Wednesday: Closed

• Thursday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Friday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Saturday: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM

• Sunday: Closed

These changes allow the Gallery to focus its resources during peak visitation times while continuing to deliver high-quality exhibitions and programs. Education programs, tours, and special activities will continue on a more limited weekday schedule, with many offerings taking place during regular open hours. The Gallery is also exploring the possibility of extended hours on Thursdays and will share updates as plans are confirmed.

Why These Changes Matter

Adjusting our hours is one step in a thoughtful approach to operating responsibly and sustainably. It allows staff and volunteers to focus on what matters most: caring for the Permanent Collection, presenting engaging exhibitions, and offering education and community programs that connect people with art.

While our doors may be open fewer days each week, our commitment to the community remains as strong as ever.

Investing in the Future: Fundraising and Sponsorship

Alongside these operational changes, the Mann Art Gallery is launching a renewed focus on fundraising and sponsorship. As a registered charitable organization, the Gallery relies on a combination of public funding, earned revenue, sponsorship, and donations to carry out its mandate. Public funding alone does not cover the full cost of operations, exhibitions, or education programs.

In the coming months, supporters will see new opportunities to contribute through:

• Event and exhibition sponsorships

• Targeted fundraising campaigns

Funds raised through these initiatives directly support exhibitions, education programming, collections care, and day-to-day operations, helping ensure the Gallery remains accessible to the public.
