Meet the Team: Reintroducing the Staff of the Mann Art Gallery

At the Mann Art Gallery, people are at the heart of everything we do—from welcoming visitors and supporting artists, to creating programs that inspire creativity across generations. As we grow and evolve, we want to take a moment to reintroduce you to the dedicated team behind the scenes who make it all happen.
Carolyn Carleton – Administrative Director (Consultant)
Carolyn serves as the Administrative Director in a consultant capacity, bringing a wide range of experience in communications, marketing, municipal economic development, and nonprofit administration. She is also the founder of Living Skies Fibre Studio, where she combines her creative talents with a mission to support mental wellness. Carolyn is passionate about building community and driving positive change through creativity.

Jesse Campbell – Interim Artistic Director
Jesse Campbell is a curator and arts administrator currently serving as Interim Artistic Director at the Mann Art Gallery. With a background in art history and a special interest in interiority and domestic spaces, Jesse brings depth, thoughtfulness, and vision to her work. Since joining the Gallery as Director/Curator, Jesse has spearheaded major acquisitions, curated national touring exhibitions, and led the organization with creativity and care. Her leadership continues to guide the artistic direction of the Gallery during this time of transition.

Lana Wilson – Manager, Education Programs
Lana has been with the Mann Art Gallery since 2014 and brings a deep love of art history and gallery education to her role. She believes in creating inclusive, engaging experiences for every visitor and is committed to making the Gallery a space for lifelong learning. With an MA in Art History from Queen’s University and a BFA from the University of Manitoba, Lana also served as Acting Director/Curator 2019–2020.

Leah Henderson – Administrative Office Assistant
Leah is often the first face you'll see when you step into the Gallery. With a Diploma in Fine Arts from Grant MacEwan University and a deep appreciation for art, Leah brings warmth, efficiency, and artistic passion to her role. She supports daily operations while helping to cultivate an accessible, welcoming environment for all who visit.
