The Mann Art Gallery’s 50th Annual Winter Festival Art Show & Sale is just around the corner and we’re thrilled to celebrate this major milestone with our artist community! Whether you’re a returning participant or entering for the very first time, here’s your complete guide to submitting your artwork for the 2026 exhibition.

What Makes This Year Special?

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Winter Festival Art Show & Sale, one of Prince Albert’s longest-running, most beloved visual art traditions. To honour this milestone, the gallery is introducing exciting new features, expanded programming, and more opportunities for artists to share their stories.

NEW: Optional Catalogue Write-Up

For the first time, exhibiting artists can include a short write-up to accompany their artwork in the printed exhibition catalogue. This can include:

  • Your inspiration

  • Ideas or themes in the work

  • Your creative process or materials

  • A personal connection to the piece

If you want your write-up included, please submit your entry form with your text by December 1, 2025.

Note: This early deadline applies only to artists who wish to include a catalogue write-up. All other artists may submit as usual during the artwork drop-off in January.

Submission Deadlines & Drop-Off Dates

Artists not submitting a catalogue write-up will have until January 2026 to bring in their artwork during the official drop-off period: January 17, 20 - 24, 2026, 10am - 5pm. Artwork drop-off takes place at the Mann Art Gallery during regular open hours.

Membership Requirement

All exhibiting artists must hold a Mann Art Gallery membership. If you haven’t yet purchased or renewed your membership for 2026, you can do so easily online or in person at the gallery.

Entry Form & Submission Process

Entry forms are open now. Artists are encouraged to register early, especially those submitting a write-up. This year’s form includes a new optional checkbox for identifying your artwork category, helping our guest curator more effectively review works by medium.

Guest Curator for the 50th Anniversary

We are honoured to welcome Jason Baerg—Métis artist, curator, educator, and community builder—as this year’s guest curator. Learn more about Jason Baerg in our curator announcement blog post.
