What happens when artists revisit the stories held within a collection?

Remix is a new permanent collection exhibition that invites artists from our community to explore, respond to, and reimagine the works held in the Mann Art Gallery’s Permanent Collection. Co-curated by Heather Benning, George Glenn, Ace Denzel, and members of Studio Q, this exhibition brings together personal connections and conversations sparked by selected artworks.

Participating artists have chosen works that resonate with them, pieces that intrigue, challenge, inspire, or invite further reflection. These selections become starting points for new dialogues within the gallery, where one or more works from the Permanent Collection are displayed alongside responses curated by Artistic Director Jesse Campbell.
