Winter Festival Juried Art Exhibition

The Winter Festival Juried Art Show and Sale is entering into its 36^th year. While predominantly a local show & sale, the Winter Festival Juried Art Show draws artists and visitors from all across the province. The show reflects the incredible level of artistic production in the visual arts and strong community support through local sponsorships and awards. For many, it is a rare opportunity to show their work in a professional gallery space.

This year’s juror is Marsha Kennedy, B.F.A., M.F.A. from Regina, SK. Marsha Kennedy has been teaching drawing and painting at the University of Regina since 1991. She has exhibited her work in public art galleries across Canada over the past thirty years. Her work focuses on the interconnection between humanity and nature and frequently looks into the deeper emotional and metaphysical aspects of this exchange.  A socio-political agenda is often suggested in her examination of these dynamic interrelationships.
